We have a rich history and deep sense of community dating back to 1948 when the original owner and visionary Taro Yamagami started Yamagami’s Nursery.

Kathy and I with our daughter Brittany thank him and my parents Mas and Betty Oka who nurtured this place as their own. Of special mention is Toya Yamagami, daughter of Taro who makes our being here possible through her generosity and desire to see this place remain a warm and vibrant source of beauty, touching all who work here past and present; touching all of you who come here. Thanks to her, Yamagami's Nursery does have a future.
